2008 Takin' the Ride on the Wild Side Fashion Show and Auction
The Wild Side Fashion Show and Auction will be hosted here at our state-of-the-art
and truly amazing TASER International headquarters. During the event, a $120,000
MV Agusta
F4CC motorcycle is up for auction (to see a list of partial auction items
click here). In addition you can see the latest
and hottest BMW, Harley, Ducati and Vespa motorcycles on display for show only.
The Fashion Show and Auction includes an evening of beauty with a fashion show,
live auction, and local designers selling their creations. In addition, the event
will include a bag pipe ceremony with a brief candlelight vigil in honor of the
fallen heroes.
During the candlelight vigil, we will observe the Earth Hour 2008 lights out at 8 p.m., joining millions of
people in some of the world's major capital cities, including Copenhagen, Toronto,
Chicago, Melbourne, Brisbane and Tel Aviv who will unite and switch off their lights
for Earth Hour. We will use 190 battery lit candles to symbolize the 190 tragic
law enforcement loses during 2007 in Canada and the United States.
Wild Side Fashion Show and Auction will take place Saturday, March 29th 2008, located
at TASER International, 17800 N 85th St. Scottsdale, AZ. Tickets are $50 per person,
show starts at 6:00 p.m.

2008 Takin' the Ride Motorcycle Run
The TASER Foundation and Euro Motorsports Scottsdale presents Takin' the Ride for
Fallen Officers Motorcycle Run on Sunday, March 30th 2008.
Ride begins at Euro Motorsports Scottsdale located at 14870 N. Northsight Blvd.,
Scottsdale, AZ

Join the Takin' the Ride Team Challenge!
For the 2008 Takin' the Ride, the TASER Foundation for Fallen Officers is challenging
riders to form teams and compete to see who can raise the most money for the families
of fallen officers. Participants may ride as individuals or as part of a team. Teams
can be from law enforcement departments, companies, clubs, civic groups, and friends
or in honor of a fallen officer. Teams will be listed on the TASER Foundation website.
Grand Prize: The team that raised the most money will have their team name/department
logo displayed on Guardian One during the 2008 Drive to Remember (www.DriveToRemember.org).
The team will also be given the chance to escort Guardian One when it comes through
your area; receive an award, and be acknowledged on the Guardian One website as
well as in the TASER Foundation annual report.
